About Us Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Mainpat is established on December 2017. It is District Level Farm Science Centre established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur (C.G.). It is responsible for transferring agricultural technologies and research to the farmer's fields so that the farmer can gain the high productivity. The aim of Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to reduce the time lag between generation of technology at the research institutions and it's transfer to the farmer's field for increasing production, productivity and income from the agriculture and allied sectors on a sustained basis.
Our History The KVK was launched to enhance the productivity, profitability and sustainability of different agricultural and agrobased occupations in the district through various extension methods considering socio-economic and environmental conditions of the districts.
Our Mission Farmer-centric growth in agriculture and allied sectors through application of appropriate technologies in specific agro-ecosystem perspective.
