About Us • Faculty strength: Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi College of Agriculture & Research Station is located at Chhuikhadan, on the State Highway 05 (SH-5). At present one Professor as I/c Dean, one Associate Professor; 10 Assistant Professors are engaged in teaching, research and extension activities along with other additional duties and five non technical staffs are working in this college. • ClassRoom & Laboratories: There are 04 classrooms for B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.) degree programme. Classrooms are facilated with one interactive panel and three multimedia projectors for conducting theory and practical classes. At present 08 laboratories are functional and 02 laboratories are under process. • College Library: College library holds about 900 books and 100 practical manuals. Library has seating capacity of 20 students at a time. • Farm Facility: Total area of farm is 9.88 ha is fenced which includes threshing floor, biological waste disposal pit, vermi composting unit, nursery preparation area along with tractor with trolley, cultivator, rotavator, disc harrow. Farm has 4 bore well and 1 well. • Hostel: Boys and girls hostels with 40 seater each are situated at college campus. These hostels are open very soon. • Sports Facility: Volleyball, Kho-Kho and badminton play grounds are available in the college campus. • Co-curricular Activities: NSS (general unit) and cultural units are available in the college. • A Tomato Processing Unit is sanctioned to the college by State Government with financial support of Rs. 110 lakh. • Opening of Betelvine Research Center is under process by the state government. • Breeder Seed Production Programme of Safflower, Soybean, Urdbean, Mungbean, Kodo, Ragi, Lathyrus are taken every year at the research field. • A MGNREGA Project of Rs. 6.193 lakh was sanctioned to the college for capacity building to the women Self Help Groups (SHGs) during 2022-23. • One faculty Dr. B. Our History Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi College of Agriculture & Research Station, Chhuikhadan was established on 30th August, 2018. The college is located at Chhuikhadan, on the State Highway 05 (SH-5) in the Chhattisgarh State. Geographically, the College campus is situated at 21032’ N latitude and 80059’ E longitude with an altitude of 339 m above MSL. The temperature of this location is 160C (December and January) to 440C (May) with the average annual rainfall of 1070 mm. The under graduate programme is ongoing continuously since 2018-19. First year of under graduate programme was completed at Pt. Shiv Kumar Shastri College of Agriculture and Research Station, Rajnandgaon. Initially intake capacity of the college was 25 students which have been now increased to 41 students. From second year onwards the college has been shifted to Chhuikhadan and started in old high school building near jai stambh chowk, Chhuikhadan with very limited facilities. In the month September, 2023 the college has been shifted to newly constructed college building which is located at SH-05, near to Mangal Bhawan, Chhuikhadan. At present total 116 students are studying in this college. In view of faculty strength, one Professor (I/c Dean), one associate professor, ten assistant professor and five non-technical staff are working in this college.

Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi College of Agriculture and Research Station, Chhuikhadan, is constituent College of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya,Raipur situated on the State Highway 05 (SH-5) in the Chhattisgarh State. The College was established on 30th August, 2018. The major objectives of the College are; serve as a centre of excellence teaching in different disciplines of B. Sc. Ag. (Hons.); conducting preliminary research in different areas of Agriculture and Allied disciplines and Human Resource Development through Trainings, Demonstrations and Dissemination of improved Technologies. Intake capacity of the college is 41 students through PAT. Our faculty comprises experts in diverse agricultural disciplines, guiding students toward a holistic understanding of agri-science. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, we empower aspiring agri-professionals to contribute significantly to the agricultural sector.
