Agronomy department has been established at College of Agriculture, Raipur in the year 1968 under JNKVV, Jabalpur and became part of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur on 20th January, 1987. Department is imparting education, research and extension activities for betterment of farmer community. Under graduate, Post graduate and Doctoral studies are being carried out under different constituent colleges of the University.
