About Us College of Agriculture & Research Station is situated at SH10. College is 4m from Bus Stand and 3 Km from Railway Station towards Baloda Bazar. The College in well connected with road facilities of public transport.

Our History Dau Kalyan Singh College of Agriculture and Research Station, Bhatapara (DKS CARS Bhatapara) is a constituent College of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur was inaugurate by Dr Raman Singh, the then Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State on 01/10/2012 and College Administrative Building was inaugurated by Shri Radha Mohan Singh, the then Central Agriculture Minister, Govt. of India, on 27/02/2017. The first batch for the award of B.Sc. (Ag) was admitted during the academic session 2012-13. DKS CARS Bhatapara offering B.Sc. (Ag) Hons and M.Sc. (Ag) Agronomy degree courses.

Our Mission Agriculture College provides students with quality educational experiences and support services that lead to the successful completion of degrees, transfer certificates, career/technical education and basic skills proficiency along with knowledge. The college has the largest land of Agriculture being utilized for agriculture experiments and Seed Production.

Our Vision Agriculture College is driven to provide excellent educational opportunities that are responsive to the needs of our students, and empower them to meet and exceed challenges as active participants in shaping the future of our country and world as well.

Our College therefore has undertaken a great leap in integrating Agriculture information and communication technology into the class room teaching and learning process. The course curricula of our College has been design so greatly to understand the problem of India Agriculture and solving the problems of farmers. It generates great skill to our students to face the problem of farmers and develop entrepreneurship to the students. Our College is constantly scaling new heights with excellent professionals training to our student in a range of co-curricular activities so that they evolve as excellent individuals who have honed their skills in the microcosm of the College and are equipped to lead and inspire in the microcosm of the world. During the end of the degree programme we have two courses “Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE)” and “Experiential Learning Programme (ELP)”. I take this opportunity to thanks authorities of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur to providing utmost support to this College for their overall development. We assure to do our very best always. The DKS CARS, Bhatapara always tries its best to maintain the highest quality academic standard and provide the wonderful environment for studies.
