About Us College of Agriculture and Research Station is situated at Boirdadar, Distt- Raigarh (Chhattisgarh). It is located an elevation of 237 meter from mean sea level in between 21o 20’ to 23o 13’N latitude and 820 55’ to 840 20’ E longitudes.
Our History This institution was first established as Regional Agricultural Research Center on 09.07.1991. Where research work was being done on Spices, Rice and Other crops . Later, College of Agriculture and Research Station, Raigarh is established on 10 May 2013 at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. Our College play vital role in Agriculture Education and Research work.
Our Mission The College of Agriculture & Research Station, Raigarh is Constituent College to Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya , Raipur (C.G.). Today Indian agriculture needs highly competent & multi disciplinary human resources. Hence Agriculture Development Trust took this opportunity of investing in people for giving a cadre of highly competent human resource in the field of Agriculture. The Agriculture Development Trust started this college with Approved Endt.No./Est.-1/103/2012/3963 Raipur, Dated-03-10-2012 (Post Sanctioned By C.g. govt. Agriculture Department vide Endt.No. 2103/ F-11-46/V.V./2012/14-2 Raipur, dated 10/05/2013) under the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya , Raipur (C.G.). The College has been started in pursuit of rural development through agricultural education. This is in response to the need and challenges of globalization. This is a concrete proof of Agriculture Development Trust's recognition of value and potential of the science and continuous efforts to create trained manpower requires in Agriculture.
Our Vision To serve as a centre of excellence in every field of agriculture including teaching, research and extension. Conduct site specific research on various types of spices crop etc. Transfer of technology to farmers of village and extension personnel’s engaged in agricultural development through various types of extension programmes.
