Director Extension services, Dr. A.K. Verma, Director Farm Dr. S.S.Tuteja visited the KVK Kawardha. During their visit, they inspect crop cafeteria of more than 60 varieties of paddy, sugarcane, Moong, urd, groundnut and Soybean. After that, they inspect the different units established under Integrated farming system model like Fish cum duck unit, farm pond, Mushroom production unit, dairy unit, poultry unit, Egg hatching unit, quail unit, implement shed, poly house unit, vegetable seed production programme, status of seed hub programme at KVK and farmers field, breeder seed production programme of Oilseed and pulses, mother orchard, plants prepared through propagation of Mango, guava, Custard apple and Lemon.
After that they interacted with the farm women and farmers participated in one day Mushroom production technology training programme, and also motivated them to participate in such type of activities for their economic upliftment through skill training provided by the KVK. They appreciated the activities and concept of IFS model established at KVK, and instruct to replicate fish cum duck unit and IFS models at Gauthans and farmers field of the district.
