Today on dated 03/11/2022 Mr. Prabhat Malik visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gariaband (Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Raipur) . Collector appreciated the work of Krishi Vigyan Kendra after seeing different units of the centre. Mr. Malik visited the Dairy unit of Sahiwal cow, which is famous for A1 milk. Poultry of Kadaknath Breed, Vermi-compost unit, oyster mushroom unit, Azolla production unit, Spine gourd, Papaya, Graphted Brinjal, Cultivated Under Protected Structure, Mother orchard of mangoes,(10 varieties- Dasheri, Langda, Alphanso,Bombay green etc.), Guava (Allahavadi safeda & Sardar Guava (L-49), Pomegranate (Ganesh), Coconut (dwarf) , Kagzi lime, apple Ber etc. Seed Production Programme of Paddy including Zinco rice, CG Deobhog Nutritional Garden, MNREGA nursery( 10000 plant prepared) of Custard apple, Ber, Aonla, Guava and forest plants.
