On dated 26-28 November 2023 Director Extension Services, Dr. A. K.Verma visited Kawardha district for three days to inspect the activities taken by KVK at farmer’s field. During his visit, first of all he inspect the Poultry unit , hatchery unit, Vermicompost unit established at Birkona Gauthans Block-Kawardha, thereafter visited pigeon pea seed production programme under seed hub scheme at village Chilamkhodra , Block- S.Lohara, after that interacted with Millionaire farmer Shri Rupendra Jaiswal at village-Khadauda, block-S.Lohara to visit his tomato filed. After that, DES Sir inspect the Integrated Farming System model established at KVK like Duck Unit, Farm Pond, Fish cum Duck Unit, Mushroom Production Unit, Dairy Unit, Poultry Unit, Egg Hatching Unit, Vermicompost Unit, Small Scale Nursery Unit, Mother Orchard, Sugarcane crop cafeteria , Seed Hub activities taken at KVK premises and verify all the documents related to accounts and farm. On dated 27.11.2023 DES sir visited Saroda Dadar fresh water hatchery unit where rearing of monosex Tilapia and Pangasius spp. was carried out by beneficiary and also interacted with them. After that, inspected Badi developed by KVK Kawardha at village Barpelatola and interacted with farmer and Farm women of Barpelatola Shri Makhan Patel, Shri Tiku Ram Patel, Shri Sewa Ram Patel , and at last visited Bhoramdev sugar factory situated at village- Ramhepur and see the whole process of cane juice to sugar formation.
