Dr. S.R.K. Singh, Director of the ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Zone-IX Jabalpur, visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Bhatapara on June 20, 2024. Head KVK Bhatapara Dr. Angad Singh Rajput briefed about the salient achievements and future plan of the KVK. During the visit, Dr. Singh observed different developmental work at office building, store room, soil testing laboratory, food preservation lab, soybean processing unit and different demonstration unit at KVK’s farm. Dr. Singh interacted with every staff of KVK and discussed various activities carried out by them such as bund farming, promotion of FPOs, creation of marketing linkages for mushroom production and turmeric processing. He appreciated all the activities done by KVK and ensured for all the support for the necessary developmental work at KVK.
