Participation of Two KVKs of IGKV Chhattisgarh i.e. KVK Raigarh and KVK Mahasamund in first International conference entitled on "Reimagining Rainfed Agro-ecosystems: Challenges & Opportunities" -(2022) organised by Indian Society of Dryland Agriculture at ICAR- Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad from 22-24 December 2022. Both KVKs of IGKV display their Exhibits like Lac Cultivation, Seeds of spices, Processed Products of Turmeric, Ginger, Corinader and Fenugreek etc. Also the Publications on Production and Processing of Turmeric, Banana, Poshan Vatika, Protected Structures in vegetable cultivation etc were also displayed.The Stall was visited by Dr Panjab Singh, Chancellor RLBCAU, Jhansi Former Secretary DARE and DG ICAR , Dr Arvind Kumar Ex HVC RLBCAU Jhansi, Dr V. K Singh, Director, ICAR CRIDA, Hyderabad, Dr JVNS Prasad, Director, TDS, NICRA, Dr SRK Singh, Director ICAR ATARI Zone IX Jabalpur (M.P.) and other dignitaries. Stall evaluation committee monitored the stall and appreciated the presentation and display of Exhibits. They said that such activities should be promoted in NICRA village. During this International Conference two posters presentation i.e. one from each KVK were successfully done. Er. R. K. Swarnkar, SS&H, KVK Raigarh, Dr. Saket Dubey, SMS, Horticulture & CO-PI NICRA, KVK Mahasamund along with Sh. Ashish Masih and Sh Manoj Sahu both SRF under NICRA Project were also present during the Conference. The IGKV team here has received appreciation from the dignitaries present over the conference.
